ut4_icysequel_pro is back!! and with a fixed midnight.

Hey guys,

I did some tweaks and fixed up sequel pro. Please let me know if something is buggy, wrong, etc.

Also, please let me know if you think a jump should be in a different order.

just played, midnight is much easier (5 tries for it), idk if too easy, maybe doing it nograbbable would be better? idk i wait other players judges. Tho doing legit sequel pro in less than 30 minutes makes you happy big_smile


edit: nograb is pretty easy too so i would vote for the nograb plat (otherwise pro-cyclone is very different from the other jumps)

First of all why do you decide to fix that Map after I had to do the damn old Pro Motorcorss. sad The Timing is real!


Noob Filter:
- Could be a lot higher and pushed more in the back. Still roofed and overjumped it.

Pro Quarterpipe(J1)
- Pretty easy to roof after first slide down.
- Also after ending ramp roof is possible so could be pushed higher.

Pro Halfpipe(J2)
- Almost everything's well here for my taste. Just the ending plat Could get pushed a lot higher and more in the back.

Pro Inverto(J3)
- The ending plat could get pushed higher.

Pro Prayer(J4)
- PLEASE make the Roof higher. It always blocks you. Also when you push it higher ur able to get higher. So maybe push the ending plat also.

Pro Chimney(J5)
- //

Pro Turnabout(J6)
- Ending plat could've been pushed higher, still able to roof.

Pro Sizzler(J7)
- I like the ending part fix, makes it a lot more enjoyable now.
- I think its a little bit too easy for a 7. Jump in a pro map. Just my opinion heh >big_smile.

Pro Tube(J8)
- Almost perfect for my taste. Maybe make the tube slightly longer.

Pro Spin(J9)
- Still pretty easy, I would push it higher and also make it not overjumpable. Like you did with Pro Loopy.

Pro Loopy(J10)
- Still roof-able.

Pro Fling(J11)
- could've been pushed a little bit higher. Almost perfect.

Pro Cross(J12)
- When its supposed to be done with two or more pumps, you could push that easily. Just hard with 1 pump now.

Pro Motorcross(J13)
- Please fix the overjump after the third half-circle. When you do so, I think its possible to get hella much speed. So we need to balance that out agian.
- I still cry.

Pro Cyclon(J14)
- I am really disappinted u put that last ledge that low, crazy overjumps shoulden't be possible on the last Jump of a Pro Map.

btw motorcross without a bit of speed control is no more motorcross so i'd take it like it is now but nograb at least, same about prayer, the roof is mkade on purpose, not searching the top speed.

I didn't get the choice of a lower pro cyclone, i appreciate that coz i suck there but why? big_smile

I would change (stars in order *slightly harder   **harder    *** a lot harder)

start **
quarter pipe *
halfpipe ***
Inverto *
Prayer * (without changing roof, moving farer so misi cries tongue)
Chimney ** (only ng)
Tournabout * (almost ok as it is now for me)
Sizzler ** (harder start so much higher end)
Tube ok as is now maybe only ng
Spin ** (half wall higher at least)
Loopy *
Fling *
Cross * considering it done with 2 pumps
Motorcross ** (at least ng, i reach often 2100)
Peru ** as previous version , not higher cause only misi can overjump it


edit: Ofcorse all depends on what you want this map to be
As far as i saw people didn't have any problem in passing this map till last jump atm, we don't want a rusty markinho trolling around a pro_map big_smile
With this changings it would become a map of galaxy level imo. not more, still under acer normal path.

Hi Kronik, for now i stacked this version at Unsorted Maps.
If you want it to replace the current one, then we do that. Or will you release a update in near future?

I'll Be editing it again this week and probably release another test version and then finish it up with a Final, never touch it again version.

@Geo and Misi

Great feedback. I'll be messing with it and making it harder. There are some issues with some of your requests just because of how I have the layout of the jumps, but I might re-arrange them anyway (physically not to do with jump order).

I would like someone who is able to do most of the regular icy sequel leets to make it about half way into the map before there is something that really requires lots of time and practice.

Like rambetter's maps, even though this is a pro map, I would like the difficulty to scale up as you go through the map. If you could rank what order you would like to have the jumps in, that would help out a lot. Overall I think Im pretty satisfied with the order, although I think pro sizzler should be back at number 3 or so.

OK noobie here. I can do almost all normal leets from icyjumps

pro filter: did it first try so maybe it's too easy tongue
quarterpipe: did it after 10 tries maybe too easy as well
halfpipe: didnt
inverto: didnt
prayer: ok ng after some time
chimney: same but no way I could ng
turnabout: didnt
sizzler: fist plat is kinda hard but first time I got it I did the jump so maybe the end should be harder
tube: didnt
spin: didnt
loopy/fling: was 10mm from doing them

The rest is just nope for me, much too hard tongue

I don't think he should make the map harder.
It should be the same as before, with fixes and maybe 1-2 changes, not the whole map


Which is the difference between Urban Terror and the other war games? The Jumping mode !

I agree with Exception, last jumps was hard enough.
I did easily midnight grab and i spend so much time on the normal leet, so i agree with gio for onlt no grab. I found pro tube a little hard, I had a noobie moment or just so much harder? The rest is ok smile

This map's purpose is quite ambiguous to me. To who is it directed exactly ? A 'pro' map in the classic way should generally be a bit harder than the leets, but the goals here are placed quite randomly, some even being needlessly changed.

In my opinion:
Pro Halfpipe should retrieve it's window shaped goal.
Pro Chimney should have wall jumps surfaces higher than normal (just like Pro Chute in IcyJumps Pro).
Pro Turnabout should be harder than the leet.
Pro Sizzler should be a bit easier on the first part and a bit harder on the goal, since it is possible to overjump with the roof.
Pro Tube should retrieve it's ledge.
Pro Loopy may be harder (not sure).
Pro Fling may be harder.
Pro Cross may be harder.
Pro Motocross should be easier. As 2050 minimum is required for the leet, around 2070 should be enough.
I'm not sure if I tested the latest version concerning Pro Cyclone, but it shouldn't be the last and it's ledge placed at around 1705.

The map should be harder than the leets, but not needlessly hard in order to be enjoyable by everyone. I am also quite disappointed to not see some potential good pro jumps, such as Orange Platorms, the one that comes after (not certain of the name), Grey Cannon, Plum Kicker (I know there is not leet officially, but one that can be grabbed could be done from the 'overjump'), Golden Wedge and probably some others.
